Off the situation of pre-health alert in 20 municipalities of Pontevedra by high temperature.
The Xunta, through the Committee on Heat Plan 2010, under the action plan against the possible effects of high temperatures on health, has turned off this Thursday the situation of pre-alert (level 1a) activated on Wednesday twenty municipalities in Pontevedra.
As reported by the Department of healing, re-location "normality" in Baiona, Fornelos Forestry, Gondomar, A Guarda, Mondariz Mondariz Wellness, Mos, As Neves, Nigran, Oia Pazos de Borba, Ponteareas, O Porrino , Redondela, O Rosal Salceda de Caselas, Salvaterra de Mino, Tomino, Tui and Vigo.
Thus, healing has stressed that, as expected, on Thursday the mass of air from North Africa "is moved slightly to the South", which encourages a slight decrease in temperature.
In fact, it was found that the minimum in the morning were "somewhat cooler" than in previous days, being generally a little below 20 degrees, so that the decline "particularly visible" in the Rias Baixas, on the the entry of breezes.
In addition, the Department has indicated that maximum values also fall slightly, so that the sensation of heat continues, "but will not be so oppressive."
On Friday and Saturday, as healing progresses, the situation differs little from the Thursday, leaving the minimum, in general, anything below 20 degrees, this value is exceeded only very locally, and maximum remains the same, "not as extreme values" as early in the week.
Thus, the regional government has stressed that, although temperatures remain high in the south of Galicia, "no longer will be given the terms of amelioration of the thresholds for the heat wave."
